The observatory hosts both daytime and nighttime field trips & classes, scout merit badge workshops as well as star parties, telescope tours, and night sky viewing events.

Drum Making Workshop

Join us at Hawthorn Hollow to create your own Native American hand drum and drumstick!   It is an extraordinary experience to birth a new drum. Each one is unique! Drums are used to make music and as healing tools.
