Admission is free except during certain fundraising events.
Donations are graciously excepted.

Can I bring my pet?

For the consideration of plants and wildlife of the Nature Sanctuary, no pets are allowed on the premises.
However, Petrifying Springs County Park is very near and they do allow pets.

Is Hawthorn Hollow operated by the Kenosha Park System?

Hawthorn Hollow is owned and Operated by the Hyslop Foundation, a private 501(c3)non-profit.

Can I bring an injured animal?

Hawthorn Hollow does not take in injured or orphaned animals.

Can I picnic or eat food on the grounds?

Food and beverage are prohibited on the grounds. However, Petrifying Spring County Park is nearby and has picnic facilities.

Can I ride my bike on the grounds?

No.

Can I collect plants/mushrooms/insects?

No.
