Trellis Building Workshop – July 13th @ 5:30 pm

Trellising has been a longstanding garden tradition for both function and beauty. The trellis is an essential garden structure for healthy plants that can also bring aesthetic beauty to your landscape. Let your creative side run wild with willow branches and jute twine to design and construct your own custom garden trellis to incorporate into your home garden. Trellis-making materials and tools are provided as part of the registration fee for each participant to design and build their own garden trellis. Please bring a vehicle large enough to transport your creation!

This program is for adults. It is a 2-hour outdoor program, so please dress for the weather! Rain location provided!


Beekeeping for Bee-ginners – July 21st @ 5:30 pm

See what all the buzz is about!
Learn some beekeeping basics Hawthorn Hollow’s Apiarist. You will learn about the life of the honeybees, tour our honey house and have a chance to get hands on in the beehives themselves!
$35 plus fees per person. Registration Required.


Introduction to Relief Woodcarving w/ Tom Schlenker – September 13-16, 2021, 6-8PM

In this 4 day course, Tom Schlenker will teach the basics to the art of relief woodcarving. Participants must bring their own tools, as Tom’s main goal is to give you the building blocks to continue your woodcarving journey long into the future.
